Yesterday’s trading results indicated that Tesla’s share price increased by 14.75%. However, later that day, the share price experienced a slight decline of 0.63% during the post-trading phase.
Consequently, Musk continues to hold the top position in the rankings of the world’s wealthiest billionaires, boasting a net worth of $290 billion, while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos occupies the second position, with a fortune of $228 billion.
Musk was a notable advocate for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during his campaign, contributing over $130 million in financial support to the Republican Party. He also engaged actively in promoting the party and directed pointed criticism towards Democrats on his X platform.
